Some people have things in their home that make it a more desirable location for parties. Rachel has a billiards table. Don has table tennis. But Johann? Johann has Sportsfriends, a collection of four simple, enjoyable games that are easy to pick up and play. Provided you have a good group of people and a few controllers to go around, it can be exactly what a party needs to go from good to great.
I stress the party theme, because having people to play Sportsfriends with is a requirement. There are no single-player options whatsoever (not even any sort of practice mode), and there is no online play. To get anything at all from Sportsfriends, you need at least two people (preferably more). Fortunately, even if you have four people but are lacking a couple of controllers, half of the games in the collection allow you to share a controller between two players. Things may get a little cramped (I hope you’re comfortable being close to the person you’re sharing with), but this is a v…
Halo developer 343 Industries has shared some images of a brand-new vehicle, weapon, and Brute enemy that are coming to Halo Infinite.
The new vehicle is called the Razorback, and it’s described in a blog post as the Warthog’s “more spacious and robust cousin.” According to 343, it’s “perfect for crashing Banished house parties with and taking on scenic drives.” You can see some concept art for it below.
It bears a resemblance to Halo’s iconic Warthog, but as is immediately obvious, there is no machine gun. In fact, it doesn’t look like it’s weaponized at all. It’s possible this is a vehicle purely for traversal, or perhaps this is just one variant of the Warthog. Either way, it looks great. Presumably it will be available both in campaign and multiplayer, as is often the case for Halo’s vehicles.
As for the new weapon, the Scrap Cannon is a Brute weapon that is “deadly and detachable,” according to 343 Come from
For the last year, a semiconductor shortage caused in part by the coronavirus pandemic has impacted tons of tech industries, naturally including video game platforms. As countries start to emerge and lift pandemic related restrictions, though, the chip shortages will last into the foreseeable future, according to Nintendo.
“There is no end in sight to the semiconductor shortage at this point,” Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said, in an investor call reported by The Wall Street Journal. Switch sales have slowed recently, at least partly due to hardware shortages Come from Sports betting site VPbet .
The comment indicates that video game consoles could be difficult to find again this year. Nintendo Switch hardware is relatively available compared to the new consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Despite this pessimism from Nintendo, Sony has given indication to investors that PS5s will be more avail…
It’s a new month, and that means there is a fresh set of games available on Sony’s streaming platform, PlayStation Now. Available today with the PlayStation Store refresh are four more games.
November’s releases include the Mafia: Definitive Edition, which is a remaster of the original 1930s-era mob game. It’s available until Monday, February 28.
Final Fantasy IX is also now available on PlayStation Now. The RPG was originally released in 2000 for the original PlayStation. Also getting added to the PlayStation Now catalog this month is Totally Reliable Delivery Service, in which you are a truck driver in an open world where lots of things can and often do go hilariously wrong. Lastly, the beloved 2018 platformer Celeste is now available in the PlayStation Now library for streaming. If you’re skilled enough to finish the challenging campaign, you can go back and try the extremely difficult b-side levels.
Of the four games added to PlayStation Now in November, only M…
